The IW Story Festival for children & young people celebrates story in many forms with author talks, puppetry, theatre, storytelling, dance, creative workshops.

It takes place at Quay Arts, Newport, Isle of Wight on Thursday 20th, Friday 21st and Sat 22nd February 2025

What to expect:  

Prepare to meet leading children's authors and hear how they have created their books. Watch mesmerising puppetry and dance. Be challenged by thought provoking theatre. Listen to captivating storytelling,  Join in creating new stories, new characters and new tales.  

The 2025 IW Story Festival is the place to come to, to  be inspired by story in its many forms with affordable ticket prices, in a central accessible IW location with something on offer for children and young people aged 3 - 18.

Aged 12+?  then come along on Thursday evening for gritty theatre and cutting edge talks.

 If you are aged 3-11,  Friday and Saturday are for you. Sessions are about 45 minutes long and  begin at 10am and finish by 5pm.
Tickets on sale from 1st December 2025.  Lineup will be announced on social media and website in late November
