Entry
Ryde Beach Sand Playground
A small but ideal place for toddlers to play with some of the usual play equipment and some more unexpected apparatus, like a hammock and a sand digger. Even though close to the road, the park feels safe as it is completely enclosed with deep sand underfoot meaning any falls or jumps are met with a soft landing! This part of Ryde Beach is huge, especially when the tide goes out, making it great for kite flying and football.
Facilities
- Two ice cream kiosks nearby
- The Captain's Table Cafe, opposite at the Waterside Swimming pool
- Paid carparking along the seafront
